Job Description

Project Engineer | Outsource RoleOverview of the roleÿParticipate with the Project Manager in managing and provisioning Project Management services for enhancing and renovating the mall, dealing with project parties like consultants, contractors, and project managers to successfully deliver the projects on time, within budget, and with the best quality. Role-effective works will commence mostly overnight with full coordination with the mall?s operations and business teams.ÿWhat you will doÿ

  • Monitor and control the quality of the executed works daily (mainly overnight), reporting all site activities, gathering project data, and issuing effective technical reports.
  • Regularly check the materials and resources that are delivered to the site, and manage to conduct visits to external warehouses whenever required for regular inspections to make sure all provided materials to the site are inspected and proper.
  • Participate with the Project Manager to manage consultants and contractors to supervise projects? activities by supervising their performance, attendance, etc., getting the best output.
  • Full coordination/alignment with the mall?s FM, operations, and business teams is a must by giving the proper heads-up to the concerned departments whenever required.ÿ
  • Ensure causing the minimum business disruption by the projects is a must by always managing/leading creative solutions that keep the mall running with the lowest disruption while project activities are ongoing.
  • Coordinate, regulate various site meetings such as project progress review meetings, commercial, quality and safety circles, and circulate/track meeting input and actions with all project parties.
  • Ensure the Health and Safety are in compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage to always keep the mall in good shape and condition at the projects? different areas.
  • Ensure all certificates, as-built drawings, and final inspections have been obtained prior to the project?s closeout and at any critical stage of the project with full coordination between the consultant/contractor and our document control center.
  • Manage the closeout Stage and ensure handling of primary snag list delivery with consultant/contractor.
  • Manage the QS and payments initial recommendations with the consultants and internal procurement teams.
