JOB PURPOSETo provide support to policy and programme activities that effectively meet food assistance needs.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

Contribute towards the development of a limited number of projects, plans and processes, ensuring alignment with wider programme policies and guidance.
Establish transparent relationships with all partners including identification of their priorities, concerns and managing expectations in regard to livelihoods interventions.
To assist the project manager in the identification of new projects and new areas of intervention.
Coordinate trainings for women and youth empowerment, including trainings on food processing and micro-credit activities as part of the livelihood activities.
Ensure that linkages are made between the small and medium enterprise (SME) development and market linkage programs and the refugees.
Capture and analyze learning, innovation and best practice of current and past operations in urban settings with a specific focus on tools and useful approaches to support Livelihoods activities
Harmonize reporting, evaluation, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure efficient coordination among actors in all livelihood activities targeting refugees and host communities
Follow data gathering and monitoring systems ensuring that rigorous quality standards are maintained.
Research and analyse policy and operational issues to support senior colleagues in the development of policies, programmes and activities.
