Develop a variety of state policy initiatives in response to the ever-changing needs of service members and their families. Oversee, conduct, and review existing DoD support programs, along with state laws, regulations, and programs to identify deficiencies in order to justify, defend, and negotiate changes. Deal with significant and complex issues to respond to the needs of service members and their families by increasing connections with Americas communities, Military OneSource, and other programs, both on and off military installations. Deliver presentations and provide training to military and civilian audiences on changes in state laws and policies impacting service members and their families. Determine and report the most accurate status of the changes in state laws and regulations selected as initiatives to support service members and their families.
