As Non Lactam Packaging Section Head, you will be responsible for fulfilling packaging plans in all aspects, leading and delivering CI in packaging (people/process), assuring compliance with GSK standards and regulatory and backing up Area Manager responsibilities. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following : Leading projects in Non lactam Packaging area & working with others to make changes. Wider business understanding of other units/functions. Experience of leading matrix teams effectively. Building One Value Stream culture. Leading the efficient and effective delivery of objectives, KPIs etc., in Non lactam Packaging area. Leading the operations in Non lactam Packaging area, assessing cost benefit and risk, and making sound business decisions complying with the judgment ladder. Managing conflicting priorities in a fast-moving environment. Delivering cost effective and competitive operations, safely and with the highest quality through operational excellence and process optimization. ensure the continuous improvement in Reducing waste, inventory and cycle time across Non lactam Packaging Area. Analyzing, planning and delivering capability and capacity to meet future supply demand. Conducting Self inspection on the Team in order to detect the improvements required. Remove the Barriers in the department (incidents, Deviations and Issues) setting the appropriate CAPA and deliver the required Changes. Promote to CI culture growth by leading the delivery of minor/major CIFs and encourage ideas generation and support / Lead with the Managers in the Major CI. Seek and evaluate ideas from others, and support learning across the teams, to deliver right products at the right time with a competitive advantage. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor?s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Engineering Strong and practical knowledge of business operations, systems, processes and standards (3 or more years of experience in the GMP industry). Sound business, financial and analytical acumen. Taking accountability for delivering targets, including contingency planning and handling challenges calmly. Ability to handle complexity and fast decision making in a calm and focused manner. Analyzing data to solve complex problems quickly and CI mindset. Ability to flex leadership and communication styles to make issues meaningful and valuable to others Ability to coach others in a variety of situations ? appreciative of diverse styles and approaches Ability to influence effectively and adapt to styles and needs - above, below and across teams/businesses Establishing collaborative relationships across boundaries e.g. EHS, Quality, other operational units and support functions e.g. Engineering, GPS, Logistics A positive and winning mindset Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Soft Skills to handle the business 4-5 years in managing people Fluent Command English language Problem Solving Skills Computer Skills CI Capability Why GSK?
