ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:ÿ1.ÿContribute towards the development of logistics plans and processes ensuring compliance with requirements of the Global Logistics Cluster, and wider logistics policies and WFP standards.ÿ2.ÿSupport Logistics Sector/Cluster projects or operational day-to-day activities following standard processes and contributing, directly or indirectly, to the effective delivery of services to beneficiaries.ÿ3.ÿCollect and analyze data through research and networking with colleagues to recommend actions to the supervisor to improve the performance of local logistics operations.ÿ4.ÿManage cooperating partners contracting activities including performance monitoring and measurement.ÿ5.ÿMonitor inventory management processes to track trends and account for the inventory status.ÿ6.ÿConduct portions of financial analysis and budget reviews, drawing out insights and recommending actions to the supervisor to optimize the use of available funds.ÿ7.ÿGuide support staff as well as cooperating partners, acting as a point of referral and supporting them with analysis and queries.ÿ8.ÿCollate data and contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely reporting, supporting a Logistics Sector/Cluster view of logistics activities that enables informed decision-making and consistency of information presented to stakeholders.ÿ9.ÿUtilize and review the Logistics Sector/Cluster Relief Item Tracking Application (RITA) system, and ensure that entries are accurate and up to date. The focal point for receiving and releasing requests from partners.10.ÿSupport the capacity building of Logistics Sector/Cluster staff, WFP staff, and cooperating partners for efficient and effective delivery of services to the humanitarian community and ultimately meeting the needs of the beneficiaries (i.e. through contribution to the training materials).ÿ11.ÿIdentify and build productive relationships with logistics colleagues, staff, and partners within the area of assignment to support an integrated approach to Logistics assistance.ÿ12.ÿSupport logistics emergency preparedness and response activities including Logistics Capacity Assessment and Contingency Plan update, to support WFP?s response in emergencies.ÿ
