Legal Contracts ManagerWould you like to be a part of our global organization?Would you like to join our Legal team?Join our TeamOur Legal Team takes responsibility for developing and safeguarding our company?s global legal strategy. We provide day-to-day legal support on various Compliance topics. We partner with the business to provide advice and guidance to ensure the protection of our employees and global locations.Partner with the bestAs a Legal Contracts Manager you will work closely with our global bid team. Identifying and providing practical solutions to mitigate contract risk, develop winning strategies and negotiate customer contract terms and conditions. During project execution you will provide sound legal and contractual guidance to the project team to protect project profitability.As a Legal Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing, drafting, and modifying OFS customer contracts and subcontracts to comply with internal contracting guidelines, and prepares associated documentation and advice.
• Providing legal services related to customer contracts and subcontracts.
• Negotiating contract revisions with customers and subcontractors.
• Providing advice to senior management regarding contractual risk issues; completes relevant checklists in Deal Machine.
• Communicating with operations personnel regarding contracting policies, procedures and processes; communicates with other functions (tax, risk management, compliance, HSE, finance) in relation to contractual issues.
• Updating applicable contracts database with entries for work performed, and prepares periodic reports, when requested.
• Handling special projects, as assigned.
• Conducting contract training seminars for company sales and marketing personnel and other departments.
• Supporting all phases (ITO and OTR) of projects including negotiations, managing commercial issues, customer and supplier relationships, claims, disputes
• Developing regular redesign of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs. Elaboration of process improvement are expected taking into consideration broader functional context.
• Developing an effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.
• Providing services to the function or directly to the business.
• Handling work requiring analysis and interpretation. Procedures dont cover all the exceptions. Approaches for exceptions have to be developed.

Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Legal).
• Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Legal Contract Management.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills are preferred.
• Have the ability to influence others.
• Have the ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact as well as the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously are preferred.
• Have effective problem identification and solution skills and proven analytical and organizational ability are preferred.
