Position SummaryProcess Safety Management ?PSM? Graduate will learn how to act as the PSM technical reference to other business functions to achieve safe, reliable, and sustainable plant operations. also, assisting PSM engineering activities and will be part of a strong mentoring culture, where each Graduate is assigned a Mentor/ Supervisor for support in the Graduate?s personal and professional development. You will also receive on-the-job training, with opportunities to develop wider technical and project delivery skills by working alongside experienced professionals.Position ResponsibilitiesSome of the job?s roles and responsibilities include:? Manage the Process Safety Management systems with consideration to the requirements of the Methanex PSM standards, Insurance requirements, International Standards and industry best practices.? PSM and technical safety practices covering design, engineering, construction and operation of these systems.? Audit PSM elements procedures to ensure processes are being followed, implemented and working as intended.? Loss prevention and fire protection in context of design (concept & detailed design), engineering, construction, commissioning and operation of the plant? MOC and appropriate hazard analysis and risk assessments are performed on changes that impact associated risks.? Plant Change Requests (PCR) to identify risks and provide mitigations to ensure new plant changes maintain the inherent safety built into their designs.? Perform the required risk assessments specified in the PHA ?process hazard analysis? document for the assigned modification.? Comply with Site safety rules, policies, and procedures.Position Qualifications? Bachelor?s degree in Chemical Engineering.? Previous work experience in a technical field is not necessary but would be an advantage.? Strong analytical and mathematical skills.? Superb time management and professionalism.? A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticism.? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.? Ability to work in a team.? Good observation skills and willingness to learn.? Very good command of English skills.? Team player with multi-cultural exposure, strong ownership & safety commitment.? Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to develop plans and actions.? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office & Presentations skills.
