Auto req ID: 270405BR Role: Accountabilities Monitoring political, legislative and social developments in Egypt to provide strategic directions for PepsiCos business interests. Analysis of key economic, industrial and investment regulations, government procedures in Egypt. Developing and implementing, together with the Egypt Public Policy, Corporate and Government Affairs Senior Manager, stakeholder engagement strategy with government entities, Parliament, private sector, associations, and NGOs. Coordinating with other PepsiCo functions (supply chain, legal to assure that 9 plants and 27 Distribution Centers of PepsiCo are abiding by Government regulations. Follow up and support the team working on Export Subsidies, with the Sales and CBS teams. Managing the PPGA work related to Custom Clearance troubleshooting. Engaging with National Food Safety Authority and Health authorities, on matters related to the Plants. Handling consumer protection agency complaints and ensure compliance of the marketing campaigns with CPA laws. Engaging with the licensing team members on issues related to Agricultural operations, as well as products- related complaints that could have a negative impact on business continuity. Experience working at high level and collaboratively in a highly-matrixed environment, alongside teams including Legal, PR, and business teams. Hand-on experience of public policy Project management experience. Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. A self-starter who can take general direction and produce specific results. Able to coordinate a wide array of internal and external resources to obtain, process, and operationalize information and strategy. Strong judgment and decision-making skills. Capable of confidently using experience and data to assess and recommend a best course of action even in an ambiguous situation#LI-EGYPT Qualifications/Requirements Skills & Qualifications A relevant Bachelors Degree required Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Public Policy, Government Affairs (PPGA) & Communications experience within Government, Consultancy and/or corporate and preferably an FMCG environment Strong experience with/understanding of politics and the external landscape/trends and what it takes to advance a proactive public policy agenda from PPGA perspective Demonstrable expertise and experience of both internal and external communications. Strategic acumen and the ability to develop approaches which address short, mid and long-term business objectives Strong inter-cultural awareness and understanding that different geographies may require different approaches to get results Good business knowledge and understanding of how PPGA can advance the overall business agenda Relocation Eligible: Not Applicable Job Type: Regular
