Provides timely, accurate and reliable financial and management information to meet both internal and external reporting and annual planning requirements.? Partners with business teams to provide analysis and insight in how decisions impact cash flow and working capital position, and assists with business forecasting/planning and analysis of actuals in support of goals and targets.? Contributes to the resolution of complex issues and queries for businesses and processes, providing sound technical expertise to advise on the application of policy and compliance for financial reporting, accounting and control.? Monitors financial performance and variance analysis in order to identify areas for continuous improvement, and supports the business in the identification, economic evaluation and delivery of business opportunities.? Develops effective working relationships with key stakeholders and relevant teams/business areas, working to explain and simplify performance, planning and reporting output to help leadership make decisions. and ensures compliance with Group standards and practices.? Complies with the function's safety and ethics rules and processes, and models BP's Values & Behaviors.In this role we have the following requirements :? Readily assimilates information and instructions and listens and understands well.? Analytical mindset.? Completes work independently without reminders or constant supervision? Qualified Accountant (eg CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.? Excellent understanding of key financial systems.? Excellent understanding of key control process and BP Requirements in relation to the Financial management system.? Excellent business awareness and understanding of business arrangements.? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.?
