Job Description

Auto req ID: 279222BR Role : This role is to be re-evaluated to create adequate focus on Governance, Culture & Capability agenda. To support & liaise with all functions across BU to implement & fully comply with both PepsiCo GEHSMS standards & legal requirements. Furthermore, to develop & enhance EHS Culture & Communications Strategy, MWB, tactics & capabilities to ensure continuous excellence. Accountabilities ? Partner with EHS & Function Heads to deliver step improvements in Governance, Culture & Capability KPIs across the different functions. ? Develop, align & execute a holisitic Culture & Communications Strategy & plans addressing all functions/organizational levels in BU. ? Actively stay abreast of latest best practices, incident alerts & training materials through regular connects with Sector COE, his\her other counterparts in Sector BUs, local & global suppliers. Cascade to relevant BU functions. ? Define, align & communicate EHS objectives & targets (in line with Global & Sector EHS objectives) across all organizational levels across BU to drive medium & long term continuous improvement of EHS KPIs ? Align on best practice deployment & development of supporting tools required to deliver the aspired performance improvement. Drive standardization & lift & shift of initiatives across BU sites. ? Identify & spend budget (Opex) according to AOP to execute Governance, Culture & Capability agenda in order to mitigate/eliminate EHS risks & drive towards Zero Harm ? Lead continuous improvement of Governance, Culture & Capability agenda through reporting & monitoring KPIs, trend analysis, benchmarking, auditing & supporting operations in setting action plans & ensuring their implementation ? Conduct routine performance reviews & corrective/preventive action plans with relevant functions to highlight critical to EHS risks, monitor action plan closure, share incidetns alerts, etc. Elevate engagement & drive positive performance as per AOP targets & Governance, Culture & Capability priorities. ? Build strong EHS capabilities across BU. Develop critical competencies & training plans for Standard Owners & Auditors across BU to ensure compliance with PepsiCo GEHSMS standards. ? Deploy PepsiCo EHS Competency Assessment & development plans for EHS team in addition to critical management roles across BU. ? Assist , guide & qualify assigned Plant for the ?Multi Site Certification? audit readiness on annual basis ? Partner with EHS function leads on continuous improvement against 38 GEHSMSstandards implementation by developing adequate & timely plans to bridge the gap. Collaborate with EHS function leads to operationalize GEHSMS protocols & related updates by developing Tier 3 standards. Ensure development of EHS site-specific programs Tier 4. ? Drive digitization adoption with the use of mobility apps, in addition to myEHS modules as relevant ? Ensure adequate & timely development & communication of incident alerts to relevant stakeholders. ? Verify & validate action plans defined by EHS or other functions (from Compliance Audits, L1/L2/L0 incidents, external MSC Audits, etc.) to ensure their effectiveness in order to deliver improvements. ? Establish adequate & robust internal & external audit program & plans (across Plants, DCs & Sales) to sustain governance; improve performance & compliance status. Ensure periodic reviews/update of existing EHS programs & practices ? Generate & communicate timely audit reports to EHS Managers. Align on corrective/preventive action plans & ensure their reflection on myEHS with on-time completion of actions ? Ensure timely, effective & objective Performance Management process for their EHS direct reports & their teams. Conducts performance reviews, appraisals & career discussions #LI-EGYPT Qualifications/Requirements Key Skills/Experience required: 7+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or Foodsafety auditing experience in a similar industry is required Experience in F&B manufacturing environment is preferred Professional EHS certification is preferred. Auditing certifications required. (Lead Auditor 45000 H&S ? 14001 Environment) Or (FoodSafety 22000) Functional EHS knowledge in local & international regulatory requirements, EHS technical aspects (safety, health, industrial hygiene, environment), risk management, auditing, training / program review, vendor / consultant management, business knowledge required Bachelor of Science / Engineering is required Fluent Arabic & English is required Strong computer skills & knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, excel, etc.) Solid understanding of business cold Planning & problem-solving skills Strong auditing skills, critical-eye Strong drive for results Significant change management experience Highly analytical Proven track record in driving cultural change in EHS Ability to work cross-functionally, drive & achieve results through others Excellent analytical & reporting skills Strong internal & external communicator, influencer & negotiator Ability to set & prioritize short & medium term objectives as well as long-term strategy Relocation Eligible: Not Applicable Job Type: Regular
