Early Career Trainee - Service SpecialistWould you like to learn from the best technical mindsDo you enjoy taking on challenging projectsTake your career to the next levelThe Early Career Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 6 to 12 months and will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills and provide on the job learning and exposure.Aspart of ourEarly Career Traineeship,you will be involved in:On job training by working with Project Managers and/or Customer Service Manager in the Industrial Energy Technology (IET) Services Organization. By the end of the program, you shall possess comprehensive knowledge on rotating equipment (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Compressor) operation and maintenance that includes planned & unplanned outages, field services, repairs and parts. As well, gain experience on business financial knowledge on Sales, Margin and Cash.

  • Learning about the technical engineering support from laboratory for the field operations, by testing oil well cements and materials according to specification.
  • HSE Induction to familiarize the trainees on Baker Hughes Safety Standards
  • Wellsite visits for monitoring and watching the execution phases
  • Basic Field work, which includes sampling, field surveys, testing and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support chemical field tests and field trials in UAE across various sites.
  • Gaining hands on experience on certified high performing machines.

  • Have abachelorsdegree in electrical or mechanical engineering Graduated from your bachelors degree within the last 12 months.
  • Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills
  • Be inquisitive and present a thirst for knowledge
  • Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying, without sponsorship or time restrictions.
