Job Description

& Specification:PURPOSE:Manage parts of a construction works and providing technical advice, supervising staff on site and ensuring that their works are completed on time and within budget. coming from an engineering background related to the assigned works along with more specific, technical knowledge and expertise.REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree of Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 05 years of experience.
  • Very good command in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook, ...etc.).
  • Leadership and teamwork, problem-solving, attention to detail, planning, and time management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Overseeing building work and setting out sites.
  • Undertaking surveys.
  • Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
  • Supervising contracted staff.
  • Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager.
  • Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
  • Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
  • Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials.
  • Ensuring that HSE and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
