Nokia?s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.Contribute to and support the design, architecture and delivery of automation use cases based on Nokia IP and/or Optics services platform. Support delivering automation use cases to customers with high quality and in a timely manner.Responsibilities:

  • Network services platform (NSP) platform design, implementation, acceptance with customer
  • Automation se cases design, development, validation and bring them into production
  • Identification of new automation Use Cases to be delivered, agreement on key acceptance criteria.
  • Building automated test scripts using test automation platform such as ROBOT to deliver custom automation software
  • Pre-determine and align customer use cases as per Nokia blueprint; analyze the use cases feasibility outside of the blueprint; evaluate alternative solutions; define system dependencies, integration points and detail requirements.
  • Review design documents (HLD/LLD) for the customer network to extract the automation artifacts and specifications
  • Proactively seek to identify and address technical risks in co-operation with the PM/TPM conduct risk assessments on the project deliverables; support on reporting of risk exposure (cost, schedule, other); escalating, as appropriate.
  • Technical change impact assessment end to end (both internal & 3rd party).
Key Deliverables:
  • NSP platform analysis and design for on site or for cloud deployments
  • Use cases design, implementation, and acceptance with customer
  • Develop custom scripts as per the customer specifications
  • Test automation
QualificationsSkills:
  • B.Sc?s in engineering and 3-4 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP/MPLS networks
  • Knowledgeable on scripting and mastering programming languages and techniques.
  • Hands on experience of REST API / SOAP API, JSON, YAML
  • Knowledge of IGP/BGP, SDN, NETCONF
  • Knowledgeable on Virtualization, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.
  • Knowledgeable on Web technologies and how HTTP works
  • Knowledgeable on Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.
  • Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification is a plus.
Experience:
  • Excellent in designing networking equipment for Carrier, SDN and NFV Solutions
  • Detailed understanding of IP/MPLS concepts and related technologies
  • Strong Linux/Unix shell networking knowledge
  • Hands-on experience including design, build, deploy, trouble-shooting & fault-finding, etc.
