You will be an experienced developer and expected to understand the needs of software development. On the process side, you are familiar with Agile and advocate the principles of the agile manifesto working directly with your team of engineers, architects, and product specialists to deploy value to our multi-region customers around the world.Senior Engineer Accountabilities:* Works alongside passionate team of Engineers* Contributor in design discussions* Promotes solutions to design alongside Principal Engineers* Alongside the team of Engineers, breaks down work into manageable pieces* Builds in quality into the code via the use of Unit Testing or Test-Driven Design* Self-motivator with a hunger to learn* Contributes to Engineering team by adhering to the principles of the Agile ManifestoSenior Engineer Responsibilities:* Works with Engineering team to implement solutions using code or cloud services* Implements, maintains and improves CI/CD pipelines to enable the team to work more efficiently.* Writes code (~80% time).* Recommends solutions with minimal assistance or guidance* Assists other Engineers with troubleshooting, common problems associated with their day-to-day work* Knows that the team is greater than the sum of its parts, and encourages others to strive for excellence for our customersSkills:* 1+ years programming experience, in a managed language context, especially C#* Familiar with concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code, Containerization, Immutability* Experience with Amazon Web Services desirable* Experience with GitLab CI/CD and AutoDevOps desirable* Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and Test-Driven Design* Experience with .NET 4.7.2 and .NET Core desirable* Experience with JavaScript ES2015+, act (React v16.8+) and Typescript desirable* Familiar with software Design Patterns.* Familiarity with Kubernetes or Docker desirable* Experience working in a DevOps environment is desirableEducation & Experience:* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other STEM field, or equivalent experience.RSA is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
