We?re a 500-bed acute-care hospital offering services in cardiology/cardiovascular surgery, oncology, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency care, and many other specialties. We?re seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to join our thriving department. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supervising or running cases and be willing to take a leadership role in facilitating patient care.Objectives of this role:Uphold the hospital?s guiding principle of providing superior medical care and educationOversee anesthetic procedures to ensure they are in line with best practices, and continue to assess risk throughout proceduresExercise fair and ethical medical judgmentAdhere to medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulationsResponsibilities:Provide anesthesiology and pain management services to patients as directed or requiredCommunicate with patients and families throughout the entire surgical process, including preparation and recoveryMentor medical students and residents on various proceduresMaintain comprehensive records of medical procedures and patient careRequired skills and qualifications:Doctor of medicine (MD) degree, or doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degreeFamiliarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of anesthesiologyBoard certification to practice anesthesiology in our locationPreferred skills and qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to work on a team to accomplish goals Company Profile Established in 2010, SearchPlus main business focus is in Executive Search and Selection.
