Risk Engineer / Risk Assessment Surveyor – (Insurance)Location: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesSalary Range: AED 10000 to 15000 Gross + Annual BenefitsOur client is a Multi-National Non- Life Insurance company, looking to hire a Risk Engineer / Risk Assessment Surveyor – (Insurance) who has experience in the Insurance industry.You will be required to carry out Field visits to conduct Risk Assessment Survey - visit industrial sites, identify hazards (fire and natural catastrophe), evaluate and communicate the risk to the Underwriting Dept, present recommendations for risk improvement and undertake follow-up activities where required.Responsibilities:•Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and evaluations for clients across various sectors in the Middle East.•Analyze data and prepare detailed reports outlining potential risks, vulnerabilities, and recommendations for risk mitigation.•Collaborate with the underwriting Department to provide insights that influence policy underwriting and pricing decisions.•Develop and maintain risk assessment methodologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of risk evaluations.•Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on risk management best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.•Monitor industry trends, emerging risks, and changes in regulations that may impact clients risk profiles.•Deliver presentations and training sessions to clients and internal teams on risk management strategies and findings.•Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.•Participate in risk management projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and minimizing exposure to risks.•Assist in the development of risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with organizational goals.•Stay abreast of latest loss prevention technologyQualification for Position:•Degree qualified (Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred)•Some formal loss prevention training desirable i.e. with FM, IRI, Kemper•High level knowledge of NFPA and/or FM loss prevention standards•At least 4-5 years’ experience of conducting site visits, identifying hazards, quantifying the risk associated with these, developing risk improvements and providing ongoing support for the implementation•UAE driving license will be an added advantage.Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
