ResponsibilitiesThe Rig Specialist is a key member of the ISP team who will be involved not only on the right rig selection, but also negotiating contractual terms along with sourcing team and continuously evaluate performance of rigs against set KPIs. Need to monitor the Rigs count for our target markets and assess the availability of Rigs in each country in terms of safety records, operational efficiency and crew stability across the Region. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identifying the Rigs as per the desired Rigs Spec for the LSTK projects for the prospective contract at the time of Bid
• Evaluate the day rates, safety records, operational efficiency and crew stability of the drilling Rigs prior to bidding.
• Lead the 3rd party Drilling Rigs selection process for new opportunities involving all stake holders and ensuring risk reward balance is maintained to achieve financial and operational success of the project.
• Deep understanding of all aspects of Drilling, Workover Rigs, FBU units and Rigs related equipment including supply chain management and drilling project management.
• Continuously evaluate the performance of the operating Rigs against the set KPIs.
• Actively participate in rig acceptance inspection and audits as required by the operations
• Track inspection and audit action items and actively work with rig contractors on closure in a timely manner
• Involved in finalizing the best commercial terms as per the market conditions and standards.
• Conversant with Rig Builds, Refurbishments, Inspection process etc.
• Will work in close coordination with the in country Integrated Projects Team, and GBU team and devise the best suitable go to market strategy.
• Create a Trust with the 3rd party companies by actively engaging with them.
• Will lead efforts for a thorough market analysis, development of commercial strategy, early customer engagement, building activity & resource pipeline and business planning.
• Post securing contracts, will lead scheduling & mobilization and operational execution vide delivery of objectives/KPIs
• Excellent networking within the industry and will keep abreast with all developments in the key markets including technology changes

• Petroleum Engineering Degree holder/Diploma holder with at least 15 years of experience from Drilling Rigs background.
• Well versed with the Rig Specs/Operating Models/Rates and the know how about the major drilling contractors across the targeted markets
• Up to date with the ongoing activities of Drilling contractors in the target markets.
• Responding to customer terms and conditions and clarifications on a time bound manner
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration .
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
