Roles & ResponsibilitiesCandidate shall be locally available in UAE.Prepare detailed reinforcement/rebar quantity take-offs from structural IFC drawings, BBS, shop drawings, and approved construction documents.Carry out floor-by-floor and element-wise reinforcement quantity measurements for structural works.Verify rebar quantities against drawings, BBS, subcontractor submissions, and actual site progress.Reconcile rebar consumption, wastage, and material quantities against approved quantities and project requirements.Coordinate with the Construction, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and QA/QC teams to obtain the required information for measurement and valuation.Signed and stamped Proposal in your letter head is mandatory.Stamped product date Sheet is mandatory.Other correspondences which is deemed to be part of the formal Proposal to be signed and stamped.Desired Candidate ProfileDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 3?5 years of relevant experience in rebar estimation, reinforcement quantity take-off, or structural quantity surveying.Strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing, BBS preparation and verification, and structural drawings.Proficiency in reading structural IFC drawings, reinforcement shop drawings, and construction documents.Good understanding of rebar diameters, bar lengths, bending shapes, lap lengths, anchorage, and reinforcement weight calculations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity take-off documentation.Experience with AutoCAD and relevant rebar estimation or detailing software is an advantage.Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.Good coordination and communication skills with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
