Job Description

Job Scope: The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality of production and installation for all joinery projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards, project specifications, and client expectations. The role will involve managing a team of two QC engineers and collaborating with various departments, including production, design, and project management. The ideal candidate will ensure that quality checks are integrated into all phases of production and installation, from material procurement to the final handover of the project. Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance & Control (Production):
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC processes for joinery production.
  • Monitor and inspect materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine quality audits of the production line, ensuring that products meet company and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for quality control, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCR).
  • Quality Assurance & Control (Project Installation):
  • Oversee the quality of on-site installation for joinery works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site teams to implement QA/QC protocols during installation.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure that the work aligns with technical drawings and quality benchmarks.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during the installation phase.
  • Client & Stakeholder Interaction:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding quality-related concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants to address QA/QC matters and provide regular updates on quality performance.
  • Provide documentation, such as quality control plans, quality certificates, and inspection reports, for project handovers.
  • Compliance & Standards:
  • Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, including ISO 9001 or equivalent.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices and integrate them into the companys quality management systems.
