Procurement OfficerJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Sourcing: Identify reliable suppliers and vendors, and evaluate their quotations and proposals.•Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers while maintaining quality standards and timely delivery.•Procurement Planning: Develop procurement strategies that align with company objectives and ensure uninterrupted production schedules.•Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.•Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.•Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure purchased items meet required quality standards.•Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.•Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical practices.Required Qualifications:•Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.•Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role within the automobile industry.•Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.•Familiarity with procurement software and tools.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications:•Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.•Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
