Job Title: Pre-sales Engineer - Security SystemsAs a pre-sales engineer specializing in security systems, you will be responsible for engaging with potential customers to understand their security needs and requirements. You will work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. Your primary objective will be to design and present tailored security solutions that address the specific challenges and objectives of each customer.Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads related to security system solutions.
  2. Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential customers to understand their security challenges, goals, and requirements.
  3. Design customized security solutions based on customer needs, utilizing a range of security technologies and products.
  4. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase proposed solutions to customers.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to customers during product evaluations and trials.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and engineering, to ensure proposed solutions align with technical capabilities and requirements.
  7. Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and other sales materials.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings in the security systems market.
  9. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and recommendations on best practices for implementing security solutions.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably in the security systems industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including but not limited to: access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and cybersecurity.
  4. Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, etc.) are a plus.
