Job descriptionPatient Administrator with clinical experience, receives visitors or patients, ascertains their needs, directs them, accordingly, answers the telephone, handles receipt and dispatches reports and couriers and performs related clerical duties according to the department to which assigned. They must adhere to customer care guidelines and assure quality care.RESPONSIBILITIES:To greet visitors and patients, determine their needs and guide them accordingly.To answer queries and to provide information directly to the person or on the telephone.To carry out relevant tasks & assignments as required and requested by Clinic Manager/ management.Maintain a cordial liaison with Doctors, Nurses & other staff in order to create a harmonious and pleasant work atmosphere in the Center.Ensure appointment schedules are adhered to with minimal or no waiting times.Maintains and prepares files, records and reports.Co-ordinates with other departments (Billing, Nursing, House Keeping, OPD)Take full responsibility for dealing with relevant customer complaints, queries and request for information for start to end of process. Handles grievances. (Patient history, report related, etc.)Draft documentation as required and requested.Ensure that both an appropriate and adequate investigation take place in all cases.
