Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and systems that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to solve complex problems and deliver business value. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, develop efficient algorithms, and integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems. Responsibilities: 1.Machine Learning Model Development: Develop and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and frameworks to solve specific business problems and improve system performance. 2.Data Preprocessing and Feature Engineering: Prepare and preprocess large volumes of data for model training and evaluation. Perform feature engineering to extract meaningful and relevant features from raw data. 3.Model Training and Optimization: Train machine learning models using relevant datasets, optimize hyperparameters, and validate model performance using appropriate evaluation metrics. 4.Model Deployment: Integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability. Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement robust deployment pipelines. 5.Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain data pipelines that collect, process, and transform data for machine learning purposes. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the pipeline. 6.Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor deployed models for performance and stability, identify areas for improvement, and optimize models for better accuracy and efficiency. 7.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, share insights, and deliver machine learning solutions that align with business objectives. 8.Stay Current with Advancements: Keep up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and related fields. Continuously explore and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve machine learning capabilities within the organization.Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, data science, or a related field. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and best practices. Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Familiarity with deep learning architectures, such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs). Proficiency in software development, including version control, testing, and debugging. Experience with deploying machine learning models in production systems and integrating them with existing infrastructure. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data and develop efficient algorithms. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Knowledge of distributed computing and parallel processing for large-scale machine learning tasks is beneficial.
