Position: Legal SecretaryExperience Required: 2 to 3 years in a legal firmLanguage: Arabic and EnglishDuties and Responsibilities1. Assists them in making clients appointments, assures their comfort, and directs them to the proper staff or consultant; maintains a calendar of appointments as needed; and responds to public inquiries.2. Sends daily case-relevant updates to clients/lawyers/consultants, maintains, and prepares weekly court schedules ensuring its distribution to all lawyers.3. Answers telephones, screens calls, forwards calls and /or records, and forwards messages accurately if needed.4. Receives, sorts, and distributes mail within the office; files correspondence and other materials as required.5. Types forms, form letters and other documents as required at acceptable levels of speed and accuracy; collates and photocopies materials as necessary; maintains supply of forms as needed.6. Filing; maintains necessary files; sorts, files and retrieves documents and records as necessary.7. Knowledge of the online notary system for legal notice attestation.8. Attends required training for Case Engine Case Management System and updates system as required in UAE Legal system.9. Maintains client confidentiality strictly in conformance with the firm confidentiality policy and UAE laws and regulations.10. Other duties as assigned.Education:Relevant qualification in Legal Studies, or a related field.Job Type: Full-time
