Jr. Procurement OfficerJob Location : UAE:?Exporting to far east African countries, GCC Middle East etc.?Local deliveries to all over UAE.?Well versed in INCOTERMS?Making Ocean freight contracts with Freight Forwarders for imports?Contracts for Local transport on monthly, weekly, Adhoc basis etc,?Contracts for Land Export to GCC and import shipments on Adhoc basis.?Moving Adhoc export shipments via sea to GCC and far east Africa?Contracts for clearance and delivery Air / Sea from DXB Airports, Jebel Ali Port to our Stores in Dubai and AUH,?Supporting commercial Team by providing spot Air , Ocean and Land Freight rates for Projects.?Negotiate most competitive rates & Contracts (Air, FCL , LCL and Land freight local and Exports) including value-added services / company SLAs with Freight forwarders, Courier companies.?Analyse the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, Shipping modes, Etc..?Writing up Freight Expense reports to Procurement Head and also getting necessary approvals for shipping.?Raising PO by attaching invoices , respective approvals etc timely within 4 days to AP Team (PO-GRN to Accounts submission cycle)?Identifying and dealing with delays or issues regarding shipments in an efficient manner.?Liaise with internal stake holders to maintain procedures and deliver high standard of service.?Managing and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records?Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc?Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts
