HSE OfficerJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:?Develop and implement a comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management system for the railway project, aligning it with local laws and regulations.?Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of project sites, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and recommend remedial actions.?Advise project management and contractors on HSE requirements, standards, and best practices, ensuring their understanding and compliance.?Assist in the preparation and review of HSE documentation, including procedures, policies, permits, and reports.?Conduct HSE inductions and trainings for project personnel, ensuring awareness of safety rules and procedures.?Investigate incidents and accidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.?Participate in regular HSE meetings and inspections, providing expert advice and guidance.?Coordinate with authorities and external stakeholders on HSE matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.?Keep up-to-date with industry trends, HSE regulations, and emerging risks to ensure the projects HSE practices remain current and effective.Key Qualifications:?Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. A professional HSE certification is preferred.?Proven experience as an HSE Officer in the Metro / Rail systems projects.?In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, international standards, and best practices.?Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate HSE requirements and procedures to all levels of the project team.?Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.?Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.?Proficiency in MS Office applications.
