Employment: Full Time HSE Manager (Deep Tunnel Project) Up To 29k Aed++ for a Construction and Engineering Company in Dubai.JOB DESCRIPTIONAssist the Project manager in the general supervision of the HSE programProvide a dedicated audit and inspection programMonitor the implementation of the HSE programMonitoring the day-to-day management of Health, Safety and Environmental issuesAssist Construction Manager, Supervisors and foremen in promoting a preventive approach within their respective work groupsExecute periodical, audits and inspections on site, and address appropriate corrective and preventive actionsPrepare audits and inspection formal reports and verify the follow upCollaborate closely with Employers Representative with regard to HSEMonitor regularly the HSE performance through the dedicated KPIsVerify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, to the evolution of the ProjectUpdate the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessaryProvide a site HSE Training programCoordinate and directly participate, while appropriate, the HSE Training activities on siteOrganize and participate to all relevant site HSE Meetings, prepare the relevant MOMCoordinate the PTW procedureKeep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must be addressedProvide the HSE section of the periodical site and Project reportPrepare and update the Site HSE Statistics, verify the performance versus the Project and corporate HSE Objective, Targets and performance indicatorsPropose recovery plan in case of deficiencies REQUIREMENTS: POSITION: HSE Manager (Deep Tunnel Project)SALARY: up to 29,000 AED depending on experience and qualificationsHIRING COMPANY: Construction and Engineering CompanyWORK LOCATION: Dubai,UAEAVAILABILITY: Can join immediatelyEMPLOYMENT TYPE: PermanentCANDIDATE PROFILE:Open to any nationalityMale, 45 year old and belowCandidates in the UAE will be highly preferredEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelors Degree in Engineering or additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management SystemsNEBOSH Certificate is a mustMinimum 20 years of experience in HSE and 10 years working on the similar projects (underground drainage, pump, tunnelling)Marine experienced is an advantageProject complexity and size will be also consideredAble to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, HSE Supervisors, HSE Officers etc.Sound understanding of UAE HSE legislative requirementsBroad knowledge and experience in risk assessments and audit processesAble to develop and implement HSE plansAbility to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniquesAbility to develop Emergency Response procedures/plansStrong organizational, planning and problem-solving skillsEffective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skillsProficiency in MS Office Applications
