Heavy Vehicle Driver | Hertz | Logistics and Supply ChainOverview of the role:To ensure that all Managed Transportation Services, Chauffeur and Events within Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Westernÿ/ Northern Emirates are running accordingly to set schedules, budget targets and Contract Requirements. Further to thisÿwill manage the monthly project reports regarding, but not limited to, Time Management /Overtime, scheduling ofÿdrivers, proper resources allocation, Annual Leave, Fuel expenses. This must be achieved in the most cost effective andÿefficient way as continuous improvement is the paramount in achieving the financial and operational targets.ÿWhat you will do:? Operations (Supervision ofÿdriver pool and support allÿMTS Bussing & Chauffeurÿrequirements)1. To be the first escalation point when Customer requires assistance.2. Ensure the schedules are effectively communicated to the client /ÿDrivers and identify the variations, planned vs actual.ÿ3. Quick response on business requirements, emails & phone callsÿ4. Ensure sufficient resources reserved for the project ? drivers,ÿprepared vehicles, backup resources and support services availableÿfor each shift.5. Ensure the Manager is aware of any challenges with vehiclestaffing or routes requirements.6. Regular meetings with drivers and cascade the company /ÿdepartment strategy and objectives.7. Drivers Management/ location rotations and other ad-hocÿrequirements,ÿ8. Provide Drivers tool box talk to the drivers. Ensure the groomingÿstandards are maintained all the time .ÿ9. Follow drivers induction activities before deployment .ÿ10. Support management for route planning, Trip scheduling , driversÿroasters etc .ÿ11. Follow Vehicle checks & Drivers check as per the businessÿrequirementsÿ12. Basic technical assessment prior to allocate Vehicle forÿmaintenance jobs and coordinate with technical team during R &ÿM process.? Reporting1. Monthly Fleet Reports, Driver behaviour, following monthlyÿindividual reviews with all Team Leaders and Drivers.2. Incident investigation, preparing CAPA reports etc3. Contract performance data supply.4. Coordinate Special Passes management for Vehicles and drivers ?JAFZA, Sharjah, CNIA, Oman transfers etc.5. Unknown Damage & HSE ? Documented Communication with HertzÿSupport Services6. Document and keep record of Traffic Fines violations by the team andÿorganize coaching session to prevent future reoccurrences.7. Traffic fine claims coordination with drivers and management.ÿ? Contract Cost Control andÿEfficiency1. Implement cost control actions advised by the management and provide progress updates time to time .ÿ2. Provide regular updates to the Manager and Senior Management Team,ÿregarding potential cost saving or efficiency improvements with directÿimpact in Contract profitability3. Cost efficient utilization of resources (Driver & Vehicle )ÿ? Customer complaints andÿresolution1. Ensure all operational and HSE policies and procedures are strictlyÿadhered by entire assigned team to ensure Customer satisfaction.2. Ensure al direct reports are complying with company code of conductÿ/ dress code.3. Handling queries and complaints from the clients , coordinate andÿensure necessary supports in time .ÿ4. Quick response on business requirements, emails & phone callsÿ5. Ensure vehicle & Drivers deployed in the projects are in goodÿcondition .ÿ? Management1. Attend regular operational and team meetings.2. Present weekly /Monthly progressÿ3. Efficiently Implement project improvement plan at project advised byÿthe managementÿ
