Financial AccountantJob Location: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities:•Manage day-to-day accounting operations.•Handle financial transactions, including cash flow management, deposits, and reconciliation.•Prepare, maintain, and review financial records such as invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.•Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.•Ensure accurate data entry in accounting software and maintain detailed records for auditing.•Monitor sales, track income, and manage petty cash.•Generate and present financial reports (profit/loss statements, balance sheets) to management.•Perform payroll processing, taxation, and other financial duties as required.•Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to improve profitability.•Manage all vendor payments, purchase orders, and maintain vendor ledgers.•Ensure compliance with local finance laws and regulations.•Work collaboratively with the management to provide financial insights and recommendations.•Assist in inventory and stock management.•Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local regulations.Qualifications & Skills:•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.•2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the logistics sectors.•Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.•Strong understanding of financial principles, including taxation and payroll.•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.•Ability to work independently and handle financial reporting for two distinct entities.•Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.•Ability to work night shifts and handle fast-logistics environments.
