Roles & ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will lead the regional Finance function and partner closely with senior business stakeholders to drive profitable commercial growth and achieve strategic business objectives.The role is responsible for providing financial leadership through performance management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and commercial decision support. In addition, the Finance Director will oversee statutory financial reporting, governance, and compliance while ensuring strong financial controls across the business.This position requires a commercially astute finance leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence business decisions in a dynamic, matrix-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Finance & Business PartneringPartner with senior leadership to provide commercial insights that support strategic decision-making.Prepare business cases and financial evaluations for investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.Manage and optimize working capital.Support key commercial negotiations from a financial perspective.Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs, focusing on profitability, revenue growth, and cash flow.Monitor business performance, identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.Present financial updates and business performance to executive leadership and key stakeholders.Financial ReportingLead monthly financial reporting and performance reviews.Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful management reporting.Work closely with regional finance teams to improve reporting quality and provide meaningful business insights.Analyze financial performance and recommend actions to improve results.Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial ControlLead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.Deliver robust financial planning aligned with corporate objectives.Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations in coordination with corporate tax teams.Manage regulatory reporting requirements.Strengthen governance, internal controls, and financial compliance across the organization.Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Shared Services, Treasury, Tax, and Corporate Finance teams.Ensure effective month-end close processes and strong financial controls.Support multiple business units within a matrix organization.Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.The ideal candidate should possess:Extensive experience within a multinational or complex international business environment.Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience.Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.Experience working within a matrix reporting structure.Strong understanding of business drivers and financial KPIs.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic business decisions.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Key SkillsStrong commercial acumen and analytical capability.Excellent leadership and people management skills.Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business functions.High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Strong decision-making capability in a fast-paced environment.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Strong relationship-building capability with finance and non-finance stakeholders.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Desired Candidate ProfileQualificationsProfessional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.MBA or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.Leadership CompetenciesDemonstrates high personal and professional integrity.Leads by example with a collaborative and positive approach.Builds trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.Drives continuous improvement and operational excellence.Balances strategic thinking with strong execution capability.Maintains high standards of governance, ethics, and compliance.
