The Construction Manager will lead solar EPC projects and ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Key Responsibilities Project Planning: develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, tailored to the unique requirements of each solar energy project. Technical Leadership: Develop detailed workflows and master document lists for solar PV system designs for client approvals. Lead the technical design deliverables in collaboration with design engineers and cross-functional teams. Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional project teams including in-house field team, contractors and subcontractors and clients, to achieve project objectives and uphold contractual commitments. Quality Assurance: Develop, implement and maintain stringent quality control processes, ensuring that all construction work aligns with the highest industry standards. Cost Management: monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality solar energy projects. Risk Management: identifying potential risks specific to solar energy projects and developing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard project success and safety is a key responsibility. Reporting: Stringent adherence to project schedule and generating regular progress reports for management, highlighting key milestones, and highlighting potential challenges during project Safety: prioritizing and enforcing safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety specific to wind and solar energy construction is crucial. Business development: Identify and evaluate renewable energy project opportunities. Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential special projects, including technical, financial, and commercial analysis. Qualifications: A bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil and Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years experience with proven track record as a Construction Management, ideally with experience in ground mounted utility-scale and hybrid/off-grid energy projects. Experience with MV/HV power evacuation is a must. Proven track record maintaining quality assurance processes. Proficiency in project management software (P6, MS project) is crucial. In-depth knowledge of UAE industry regulations (DEWA/FEWA/SEWA/ADDC etc) and respective municipalities as they relate to commercial and industrial (C&I) distributed solar energy generation is an advantage. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Project management certification (PMP) is an advantage.
