The Foreign Purchasing Commercial Expert plays a critical role in procuring goods and services from international suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance with regulations.*Key Responsibilities:*1. *Supplier Selection:* Identify and evaluate international suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions, and establishing contracts to secure reliable sources of goods and services.2. *Cost Management:* Analyze pricing structures, negotiate favorable terms, and implement cost-effective procurement strategies to optimize the organizations budget.3. *Quality Assurance:* Ensure that procured products and services meet quality standards and specifications, collaborating with quality control teams when necessary.4. *Market Analysis:* Stay informed about global market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to make informed sourcing decisions.5. *Logistics Coordination:* Oversee the logistics of international shipments, including import/export regulations, customs compliance, and transportation logistics.6. *Risk Management:* Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors.7. *Compliance:* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, import/export laws, and industry-specific standards.8. *Contract Management:* Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with international suppliers, including terms, pricing, and performance metrics.9. *Cost-Benefit Analysis:* Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.10. *Relationship Management:* Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and fostering collaboration.11. *Sustainability:* Promote sustainable procurement practices, considering environmental and social responsibility factors in supplier selection.*Qualifications:*- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field (Masters degree may be preferred).- Proven experience in international procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.- Negotiation skills and the ability to build productive supplier relationships.- Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and market trends.- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
