VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company.VAM Systems is currently looking for Cloud Migration Consultant ? Technical for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:Experience ? 10+ yearsAcademic Qualification?Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.?Masters degree is a plus.Technical Expertise?Proven experience (5+ years) in designing and implementing complex cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting.?Strong VMware domain knowledge including tools like - VCD, NSX T, VCA, HCX, VROPs etc.,?Technical certifications on VMware, Azure and AWS services?Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, networking, security, and storage technologies.?Proficiency in assessing applications for cloud suitability and recommending appropriate migration strategies.? Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies, such as AWS Server Migration Service, Azure Site Recovery, and Google Cloud Migration Tools.?Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions.?Excellent project management and communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.? Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations related to cloud migration.?Strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.?Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.Key Responsibilities:?Understand the services, technology stack and security framework of our Cloud Platform?Collaborate with clients to understand their existing infrastructure, applications, and business requirements to develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and plan?Install assessment tools for detailed assessment of the environment?Evaluate the feasibility of migrating to our cloud platform based on technical, financial, and operational considerations?Design, plan, and execute end-to-end cloud migration projects, including discovery, assessment, planning, data migration, application refactoring, testing, and post-migration support.?Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the migration process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption to client operations?Install and configure migration tools like VCA, VM Replication or HCX required for the Migration from various environments to our VMware based Cloud platform?Build a strategy & plan to migrate the non-VMware environment such as physical servers, Unix servers, Oracle Exa data as lift & shift to our datacentres and integrating them to the Cloud platform?Provide guidance on selecting the appropriate cloud services, configurations, and deployment models to optimize performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency?Collaborate with various internal and external stake holders such as delivery team members of various tracks, Project Managers, client Project Managers, Clients technical team owners in devising the overall migration plan. Be the technical lead and lead the engagement with the customer on the delivery and migration stand point?Develop, maintain and update the target environment design documents (HLD / LLD), migration documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing materials. Share all the design documents with the customers once the migration is completed and maintain an internal copy of the design documents?Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and cloud migration best practices to continuously improve service offerings and deliver innovative solutions to clients.?Present about the CLoud platform, migration approach, migration status, risks & dependencies to the Clients management and team membersTerms and conditionsJoining time frame: (15 - 30 days)The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - UAE and shall be deputed to one of the Organizations in UAE.Should you be interested in this opportunity, please send your latest resume in MS Word format at the earliest
