Job Description

Bridge/ Structures Design Engineer (Bridges, Underpasses, Tunnels, Culverts and Utility structures)Dubai, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Bridge/ Structures Design Engineer (Bridges, Underpasses, Tunnels, Culverts and Utility structures)to join our team! In this role you will get to plan and design structures and facilities such as bridges, underpasses, tunnels, culverts and utility structures.What Youll Be Doing:

  • Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
  • Prepares standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
  • Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
  • Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses.
  • Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
  • Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering discipline.
  • 4+ years of related work experience with infrastructure, roads, tunnel, bridges, underpass etc.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
  • FEE examination will be an added advantage.
  • Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using one or more of the following software packages would be an advantage:
- Bentley Openbridge Modeler- Autodesk Structural Bridge Design (SBD)- CSi Bridge- SAP2000 / SAFE / ETABS- MIDAS CivilMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace. Minority/Female/Disabled/Protected Veteran.
