The barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot &; cold beverages to customers, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized working area.- Prepare and serve a variety of hot &; cold beverages, following recipes and ensuring high-quality standards.- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately.- Assist in managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of perishable items.- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.- Upsell additional products or promotions to customers.- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.RequirementsWork experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications or training in coffee preparation is a plus.Particular skills/Ability to work in specific programs: Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and different types of coffee beans. Ability to operate coffee-making equipment cash registers, and POS systems.
