Responsible for:Managing all aspects of generalÿand financial accounting operations for Dubai Golf entities (including managed properties). This would include consolidation, financial statement preparation, financial review and analysis, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, treasury activities, reporting, preparation of MIS & Tax compliances.Ensuring that all Finance requirements are fully met and in time.Purpose and Scope of Position:Setting up and maintaining an efficient accounting system of high professional standard with appropriate internal control to provide:úÿÿÿÿÿÿUp-to-date information and advice to management with regard to financial operation and controls of the Club.úÿÿÿÿÿÿCater to the accounting requirements of the Regulatory authorities, Management and External Auditors.ÿ1. Main Duties:Specific responsibilities include:FinanceúÿÿÿÿÿÿLiaison with the Finance managers at DG to ensure timely closing of books of account.úÿÿÿÿÿÿManaging day to day operations of finance-Accounts payable & ReceivablesúÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsuring monthly review of schedules & preparing variance analysis.úÿÿÿÿÿÿAttending Business review meetings with ownersúÿÿÿÿÿÿManage cash flow planning, preparation of cash flow and ensure availability of funds as neededúÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinating with Banks for daily operational requirement and managing relationshipsúÿÿÿÿÿÿPreparation of financials as per timelines.úÿÿÿÿÿÿPreparation of VAT returns as per tax laws.úÿÿÿÿÿÿDevelop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analysis to provide insight into the organization?s operations.úÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinate financial reporting requirements of DG(including managed properties) and wasl.úÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting.Budgeting & Planning, Policy, and Investor RelationsúÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinate and assist in preparation, development and monitoring of budgets.úÿÿÿÿÿÿResponsible for driving the budgeting process through financial manager and consolidating the budget.úÿÿÿ Analyzing key performance indicators, monthly operating results and report significant trends to operational management.úÿÿÿÿÿÿConducting P&L review meetings with club managers, department heads along with finance managers.úÿÿÿÿÿÿParticipate in corporate policy development as a member of the management team.úÿÿÿÿÿÿRemain up to date on audit best practices and IAS laws.Accounting and AdministrationúÿÿÿÿÿÿTo ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems.úÿÿÿÿÿÿContribute to maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.úÿÿÿÿÿÿOversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.úÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinate audits, both internal and external.úÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.úÿÿÿÿÿÿFinance organization chart to be constantly reviewed and updated.ÿ2.
