Job Description

DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of Gulf-specific accounting regulations and best practices.Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Ensure compliance with Gulf-specific accounting regulations and standards
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations and other general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting procedures
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to management as needed
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-6 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of Gulf-specific accounting regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred
