The Project Engineer Manager (PEM) is responsible for:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿFully accountable for all Engineering tasks on the ProjectúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordination of the Engineering activities on large scale capital projectsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordination with all Lead engineers and designers working on the project to ensure timely Engineering delivery under schedule and quality constraints.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordination of various design reviews, tracking and expediting action close out.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿSupport PM in evaluating changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿMonitors progress and performance against the project schedule and raises timely flags.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿManages inter-disciplinary information flows, interfaces, and conflicts.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCapable of foreseeing, analysing and escalating issues arising from operations and resource constraints.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿExcellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿUnderstanding of overall Project Engineer Manager managing and Design Execution Strategy.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿUnderstanding of project specific instructions and procedures.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿConsolidate department engineering budgets and manage them during the project under PM guidance.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordination with internal engineering and design resources to produce engineering deliverables on schedule and within budget.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿResolve conflicts between disciplines and ensure smooth flow of information.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsures effective technical coordination with Clients or third-party representatives (as needed).úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPrepares various project reports and presentations as guided by overall PEM / PMúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsures compliance to project procedures and effective change management; Raises flags for non-compliances.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsures that lessons learned for engineering are clearly identified, recorded, and communicated.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿKeeps tracking of open actions / TQs etc. and co-ordinates for their close out.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿLeads the activity of Engineering Close out preparation.
