Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIESAs approved by the Projects Quality Manager, the SQS Specialist has the responsibility and commensurate authority to accomplish the following duties:

  • Develop and monitor SQS processes across NGHC Projects.
  • Monitor and validate vendors evaluation and approval process and manage the Approved Vendors List.
  • Estanblish NGHC Inspection levels requirements and review contractors? Inspection Levels assignment and ITP?s.
  • Review contractors? Equipment Criticality Ranking guidelines and assure implementation.
  • Assure implementation of Projects? Quality Plans in the Procurement Phase.
  • Establishes the Procurement Quality electronic tracking system in SharePoint for the project including registers and folder structure.
  • Establish and administer Global Inspection Services contract to support Projects? SQS of direct and contractors? supplied material and set the processes to request, perform and report inspections.
  • Supervise the selection, approval, and deployment of COMPANY Third Party Agency personnel
  • Provide oversight of Procurement Quality Specialist to ensure that COMPANY TPI representatives have access to the documents and information associated with assignment
  • Ensures that EPC CONTRACTOR and COMPANY Procurement Inspection Reports are maintained and distributed to Project Management Team (PMT) personnel
  • Elevates Procurement Quality issues and concerns to the Projects Quality Manager and Project Managers as required.
  • Ensures QC representation by COMPANY at selected Vendor/Sub vendor Kick-Off, Pre-Inspection & QA-QC Meetings with Contractors.
