Job Description

and QualificationsThis position is accountable for the following:

  • Review and comment on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all work activities at the Site location.
  • Support the FULL implementation of the EH&S Plan.
  • Support the implementation of the Project Emergency Response Plan and approve Rescue Plans, as necessary, ensuring drills are scheduled to assurance response capability.
  • Ensure EH&S Risks have been assessed and risk mitigation measures are in place.
  • Support Contractor Management Team in planning and executing HAZID workshops.
  • Assist Project team in identifying project EH&S concerns.
  • Establish a Program of EH&S inspections and audits to support BSP.
  • Support the Contractor with Low and Medium severity Incident investigations.
  • Ensure safety equipment is regularly inspected, fully operational and colour coded
  • Support the implementation of a roust Control of Work program, ensuring compliance with the global CHWP program.
  • Monitor adherence to the LOTO work process, specifically that the LOTO is adequate and installed correctly.
  • Support the Contractor to develop and implement a robust Heat Stress Program.
  • Ensuring Contractors safety programs and safe work practices are aligned with SPEC-PRJEX-90600 Rules for Contractor Safety.
  • Support the Project during Phase Gate reviews, providing EH&S guidance.
  • Ensuring EH&S information/expertise is provided to the site team when solicited to ensure compliance to Air Products standards and local laws.
  • Demonstrating strong leadership at all times throughout the project phases.
  • Coordinate safety training as required for the Contractor organisations.
  • Actively participating in and leading safety promotion events, campaigns, competitions, established programs.
  • Providing leadership to ensure prompt prioritization and coordination of all unforeseen issues at the site, escalating to the Air Products EH&S Manager / Construction Manager as required.
  • Ensure a robust incentive / disciplinary policy is implemented to promote strong safety performance.
  • Give input to ensure the accurate completion of all EH&S reports.
  • Ensure all incidents are recorded in the Initial Notification App and Event Management in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the Project EH&S Management System is aligned with the Global EH&S program.
  • Support Contractors through mobilisation as part of the formal ?Authorise To Mobilise? process.
