Job Description

Position : Workshop ControllerIndustry : Transport IndustryLocal Candidate Available in Qatar only can Apply at jobs at b2c-solutions.comRoles & Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and follow up on scheduled maintenance plans as part of the Preventive Service Plan for Fleet
  • Direct and overview of all repair activities to ensure its completion as per Mowasalat standards within budgeted cost. And as per OLA Time frames.
  • Ensures Workshop Supervisors and Coordinators are up to date on vehicle operation and service specifications.
  • Approve release of fleet upon confirmation ofcompleted jobs
  • Create Technician rosters as per workshop peak and off peak time to ensure maintenance and service plans are implemented
  • Ensure shop floor safety, proper housekeeping.In case of malfunctioning of any equipment or bus which may affect the HSE standards
  • Overview on the job training and all skill upgrades initiatives to support employee development
  • Priorities assignments, meet deadlines and ability to work under pressure
  • Generate Performance Reports related to the activities carried out in the Workshop in relation to service performance, breakdown and recovery response time
  • Approve spare part requirements in conjunction with standard preventive service plans as well as emergency repairs.
  • Perform Stock Control and monitoring to ensure availability as per procurement plans
EducationMechanical Engineering graduateExperienceMinimum 5 years overviewing and managing vehicle workshopsTraining Supervisory Skills, Finance & Procurement understanding. Team building, Technical training related to vehicle engines performance.
