VAT/TAX Accountant (Arabic Speaker)Job descriptionJob Purpose:Analyzing fiscal matters and preparing, submitting and managing tax statements and returns for all the companies within the group. Providing advice on financial and tax matters, and should have an in-depth knowledge of the income tax and VAT regulations, laws and acts that govern this process.Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare, analyze and calculate the tax statements/liabilities/ duties for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility and ensure their compliance with regulatory requirements, guidelines and standards. Submit tax statements for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility and ensure their compliance with regulatory requirements, guidelines and standards. Partake in the implementation of taxation reporting and taxation accounting system in order to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial transactions at the area(s) within the scope of responsibility. Lead in the VAT implementation project(s) at the area(s) within the scope of responsibility. Perform monthly closings and journal entries in order to generate concise and standardized accounting statements in the area(s) within the scope of responsibility. Ensure that all required data, information, documentations and reports are kept updated in the ERP system at the area(s) within the scope of responsibility. Access to ERP System as per the approved user profile for the position. Handling of petty cash in line with the approved policy and procedures.
