To assist Valve Operator in the activities of valve operation such as opening, closing and throttling, pressure monitoring, shutdown, regular flushing, checking of pipe condition have been increased to a large extent.Major Duties and Responsibilities:? Assist Valve Operators in daily operation of valves (closing, opening, throttling etc.) in transmission and distribution mains.? Assist Valve Operators in pressure monitoring/checking in the distribution network.? Assist Valve Operators in checking the condition of pipe.? Assist Valve Operators on emergency shutdowns for pipe leak, burst etc.? Assist Valve Operators and staff in carrying-out flushing of mainlines to keep the distribution system clean which is carried out on a regular basis and on emergency as well specifically for cases of dirty water.?? Should have worked as Valve Helper for minimum 2 years in water treatment plant/ Water supply systems.?
