Job Description

Nair Systems is currently looking for Treasury Management system IT SME for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions. Qualifications& Skills1. Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.2. Minimum 5 years of experience in TMS system implementation preferably Murex.3. Strong experience in implementing and supporting Treasury Management Systems, with specific expertise in Murex.4. Solid understanding of treasury management processes, financial instruments, and risk management concepts.5. Demonstrated experience in configuring and customizing Murex, including modules such as Front Office, Back Office, Risk Management, and Reporting.6. Experience with Murex workflow design, trade validation, collateral management, and market data integration.7. Knowledge of Oracle, SQL and database concepts, with the ability to write complex queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.8. Middleware knowledge of MQ and TIBCO.9. Proficiency in Murex programming languages and tools, such as MxML, MQL, and Murex Integration Framework (MIF).10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.11. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.12. Proven track record of successful Murex implementations, including full project lifecycle experience from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.13. Experience with treasury management activities, such as cash management, liquidity management, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, and financial risk management.Responsibilities:1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams, to gather and analyze business requirements for the Murex implementation.2. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for configuring and customizing Murex to meet organizational needs.3. Perform system configuration, customization, and development tasks within Murex, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.4. Conduct end-to-end system testing, including test case preparation, execution, and defect resolution, to ensure the quality and integrity of the Murex implementation.5. Provide technical guidance and support to business users during the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase, assisting with issue resolution and ensuring successful user adoption.6. Collaborate with IT teams to manage data integration, interface development, and data migration activities between Murex and other systems.7. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials, to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer and smooth system operation.8. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in treasury management systems, Murex functionality, and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance the Murex implementation and support ongoing system optimization efforts.9. Assist with post-implementation support, troubleshooting system issues, and providing timely resolution to ensure system stability and optimal performance.10. Coordinate with vendor and functional support provider for project issues and support.11.
