Reporting to the Scheduling Supervisor, the incumbent must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Admissions and Registration Directorate in fully implementing the Universitys mission and vision.Duties & Responsibilities: This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will maintain the computerized course catalogue for all student courses and programs in PeopleSoft, and update the computerized scheduling system, in alignment with UDSTs guidelines.The successful candidate will update and maintain the course catalogue in PeopleSoft for all courses and maintain pre-requisites and co-requisites in the course catalogue every academic year and support in consulting with Deans, Profiling Schedulers and Program Quality and Accreditation to ensure accuracy of information.The successful candidate will collaborate with Program Development and Accreditation Department, and the Lead Instructor, to update the Academic Advisement module of PeopleSoft and monitor the class schedule to ensure accuracy is maintained. The candidate will coordinate with Department Heads, regarding changes in their schedules in PeopleSoft and update the database accordingly.The successful candidate will assist the Scheduling Supervisor to prepare the student course schedule and validate the data entry before scheduling in accordance with UDSTs registration guidelines.The successful candidate will compile and validate students and invigilators exam schedules and forward to the Registrar for distribution to ensure there are no discrepancies or changes to the schedules.The Scheduling and Catalogue Coordinator will liaise with Facilities to plan the exam set-up for each term and provide a list of rooms allocated for the exam scheduling and attend to scheduling queries regarding attendance/class rosters and resolve any issues in this respect.The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the recording and distributing of minutes of Student Services team meetings and will setup and maintain database for courses and classes meeting pattern for students and faculty.The successful candidate will also update and maintain changes and adjustments to class schedules and class meeting patterns and maintains Campus-wide room bookings using the Software booking system.
