Job Description

Position SummaryWorking under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the position will be required to assist in the study design, collection of data, data analysis, literature review, interpretation and dissemination of results, and preparation of scientific manuscripts.Job Responsibilities

  • Uses bioinformatics and other public databases for collecting knowledge on different omics data such as metabolomics, genomics, transcriptomics, and methylation data.
  • Assists with literature reviews and integrates research findings from the literature to support analysis of results obtained from omics data analysis.
  • Creates and organizes tables and figures for a scientific manuscript publishing using professional plotting software or tools.
  • Supports a variety of analytical and statistical analyses.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed records, logs, and summary reports of all data and statistical analysis charting.
  • Contributes to publishing research findings in scientific journals.
  • Assists and contributes to research planning and design.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
