Job Description

Role Objective:?The Technician role is to assist the Senior Technician in all duties to ensure that rides, attractions, fixtures and fittings are operable and safe to customers and staff.Deatiled Roles and Responsibilties:

  • To attend to all technical faults which occurs.
  • To ensure that all areas are safe and free from risk.
  • To carry out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as directed by the immediate superior.
  • Report all faults that occur to machines, rides, attractions and fixtures and fittings.
  • Recommend solutions with Senior Technician or to the Operations Supervisor for the repairs of machines/equipment.
  • To liaise with the Supervisor during a shift to ensure that all machine faults are being dealt with quickly, efficiently and safely.
  • Facilitate a day-to-day check-up of all machines prior to operations to ensure safety to both staff and customers.
  • To ensure that all machines requiring plush are stocked adequately.
  • To watch and report machine or attraction ?fraud?.
  • To ensure that the technical workshop area is always kept clean and tidy.
  • To ensure that all fault and maintenance records are kept accurately and completely.
  • Have the full authority to inspect all machines/equipment and have the authority to declare whether they are safe or unsafe to use.
