We are currently looking for Systems Architect - VMware for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.SkillsA minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in ICT and private and public Cloud Technologies (HyperV, RedHat, VMware, Security, storage & backup systems)Design & support experience based on VMware , Dell powermax storage & Dell backup Networker & Avamar with datadomain is a mustVMware & Dell storage/backup certifications will have added advantage on candidate selectionExperience in designing, sizing of Data center & cloud infrastructure solutions to support Telco mission critical applications ( Active-Active, RH clusters, BC/DR)Computer and Communications Engineering Degree or equivalentExcellent knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring, supporting, and managing cloud infrastructure with various hypervisors and orchestrations.Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in system administration and management of various Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, and Unix) and Virtualization (at least one HyperV and KVM)Design,Sizing & implementation of block & file based storage and backup platforms for mission critical applicationsSystematic and process/procedures oriented with good troubleshooting and skillsGood experience in Project ManagementExcellent customer/partner relationship skillsGood communication and presentation skills in English with Arabic as a plus.Ability to perform well under high pressure within customer and partner premises/environmentSystem/Network/ITIL certifications are a mustRESPONSIBILITIESThe L3 systems Architect ? Data Center Server Hardware, Virtualization, Network & Systems design responsibilities include but are not limited to:Plan, design and implement FIFA internal projects & customer projects, upgrades and evolution as client?s Infrastructure design guidelinesProduce timely architectural blueprints for all FIFA augmentation and green field projects in co-ordination with client?s SW, active, CIS and SOC teamsManage capacity and growth of the relevant IT infrastructurePlan and implement the overall platforms and infrastructure security and plan transition to operations teamPlan, design and implement new technologies and their operations supportAssist in Quality assurance and managementFine tuning of the tools and introduction of new products/tools for the operationsAct as an Infrastructure TPM (Technical PM) SPOC for all FIFA projects with timely status updates through periodic governance following standard project management processes like risk mgmt & escalation mgmt .problems and/or deliver high priority projects and/or perform maintenance on critical system and network componentsTake leadership role and help the L2 engineers with their work and assignmentsAssist in other activities and projects as neededTerms and conditionsJoining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)Additional InformationTerms and conditions:Joining time frame: maximum 4 weeks
