Job Description

for Sr. System AdministratorCandidate should work independently while resolving tickets, or implementing changes.Candidate must comfortable to work after office hours and during weekends (on-call)With a minimum of 8 years of total experienceTechnical SkillsCandidate must have a basic understanding of the below technologies

  • High Availability Concepts
  • Monitoring tools and Concepts
  • Backup tools and Concepts
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Security hardening
The candidate must have minimum knowledge of ·      IIS -- Creating websites in IIS -- Deploying code files such as static pages, .net application -- Good understanding of SSL certificate and implementation. -- Troubleshooting IIS and website issues.-- Analyzing IIS log files -- Good understanding of IIS Backup and Restore·      Database -- Creating Database in SQL Server -- Good understanding of Database backup and restore -- Good understanding of SQL Server Agent jobs, and Maintenance plans. -- Good Understanding of SQL Server logs-- Troubleshooting Database issues.·      SharePoint / Sitecore / .NET CMSInstalling Solutions -- Search Topology and administration
  • -- Creating Webapplication, Site Collection, Sites, Lists, and Libraries
Managing Service application like User Profile, Managed Metadata. -- Backup and restore of Sites, Site Collection, Web application, Documents, List, and Libraries
  • -- Good understanding of debugging and logs
  • Troubleshooting issues
·      Windows ServerOperating System --Applying Windows update --Troubleshooting resource utilization using tools such as Task Manager, Resource Monitor, Performance Counter
  • --Operating System recovery. (Backup and Restore)
·      Hyper-VCreating Virtual Machines -- Configuring Virtual Machine Replication
  • -- Understanding of VM Backups and Restore, Checkpoint/Snapshots, Expanding Disks.
·      High Availability-- able to explain anyone of the High Availability Solution.
