In charge in the inspection, valve operations, shifting of water supply and arranging the de-watering of primary water mains and its appurtenances, interconnection of new mains which are located in Doha & its suburbs.Minimum 10 years as Supervisor and 5 years relevant field of work.? Supervises the operation of the manually operated valves in the water transmission & distribution system and reservoir sites and towers.? Attends to any emergency leak situation by implementing an immediate closing of transmission main valves to isolate the section of the water main where the break occurs.? Supervises the installation of pressure recorders and conducts pressure survey in the distribution system when required.? Supervises the delivery and operation of submersible pumps in the dewatering of transmission main, valve pits, etc.? Supervises the regular valve operation in the transmission distribution mains to provide uninterrupted supply to consumers.? Inspects distillate mains, rising mains and their appurtenances.? Supervises the cleaning of water towers (disinfecting and flushing) and its vicinities.? Prepare daily reports and assist in preparing monthly reports.
